The 3-storey Residence is only 8 km from Las American international airport and 29 km from the capital (Santo Domingo). It is built in the colonial style, and comprises 24 apartments. Each apartment is finely furnished, air-conditioned, with a refrigerator, cable TV, a fully equipped kitchen, hot water, a telephone and a safe.

Anyone wanted a holiday in a 'home from home' can choose from a range of apartments of different sizes (from a two-storey apartment to a studio). The Residence has its own swimming pool and bar and a reception.

The Residence is secure and spotlessly clean. There is a night guard service and all the apartments are cleaned daily.  

The Residence is centrally situated, in a quiet part of the town.  Guests wishing to savour the more picturesque aspects of the night-life only need to stroll 100 metres away to Duarte Street, with its bars, discos and restaurants serving both local fare and international cuisine. Only 150 metres away, in an enchanting bay of Boca Chica , is a superb beach protected by coral reefs, known as the world’s largest natural swimming pool. 100 metres further away is the Casino, and nearby are banks, shops, art galleries, pharmacies etc. But we also have everything that cannot be seen: the personal ability of the guests to discover and invent things for themselves.

El Candil was the lantern which pirates used during the night to make their way to the island.

Santo Domingo is one of the few places in the world where disappearing cultures are still to be found and the latest technologies are now becoming established.  Christopher Columbus arrived in the Dominican Republic, and that was when the history of mankind embarked on a new voyage towards an unknown universe. So much of what you can see here has remained unchanged since Colombus's time, giving it a timeless fascination.

There is one place more than anywhere else where beauty merges with untamed nature, magic with progress, myth with ritual. Here the sea has three colours: black, merging into deep blue and then green. It is called BOCA CHICA.
